The family announces with sorrow her death peacefully at the Sensenbrenner Hospital in Kapuskasing, ON, on Thursday, September 22nd, 2011 at the age of 68. Loving mother of Daniel (Carla Thompson) of Bradford, Lynn Soltys (Aaron) of Lively, Michel (Cathy Grzela) of Ottawa and Lise Rochon of Trail, B.C., trusted friend of Omer Thibodeau of Kapuskasing. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her four grandchildren, Zane, Jared, Aiden and Anderson. Survived by four brothers, Roland Rochon (Élenore) of North Bay, Jean Rochon of Kapuskasing, Marcel Rochon (Gisèle) of Sturgeon Falls and Albert Rochon (Paulette) of Coburg, one sister, Thérèse Russell (Ralph) of Sault Ste-Marie. She was predeacesed by one brother, Claude Rochon (Yvette). Also sadly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. She battled many health ailments with great courage and faith. Thank you for the care she received by both Dr. Claude Boucher and Dr. Julie Boucher as well as the nursing staff. A mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, September 26th at 10:30 am at the Notre-Dame-des-Victoires church with Father Louis-Philippe Bélanger officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Scleroderma Society of Canada, the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated.
